Birth looks different for every family
As parents-to-be we learn all that we can about pregnancy and childbirth and have plans close to our hearts about how it should all should be. We create birth plans, music play lists, custom curated hospital bags and the most adorable going home outfit. We take the classes and buy all the necessary items to start us off on the best feet possible. Sometimes birth goes exactly as planned, often it does not (simply because babies have their own plans!) - but that does not mean your feeding goals cannot be achieved. Most families need breastfeeding help at first!

How to remember you're not alone, when it really feels like you are.
Most families need some extra support at first - that's why we are here! We were not meant to give birth and raise babies alone (as is commonly found in the US). We were designed to be surrounded by our village, with support from elders and other women to constantly nourish, uplift and care for us (and naturally provide that breastfeeding help). You are not alone in your worries and struggles, even though it may feel that way every 2 hours. You're likely a mess of brain fog, fatigue and not sure if you're even wearing pants - but we've been there before, and we got you!
